i learned about daniel liebeskin in the late 90s, when i was fascinated with modern architecture and living in berlin. the best building going up in that time of massive rebuilding was the jewish holocaust museum. this was my first experience in a building from the dutch architect. his concepts were wild and details unbelievable in real life. 7 years later, im living in denver and hear about this wild building going up downtown. the designer in me went to check it out and couldnt believe i was looking at a liebeskin in denver! i visited the job site pretty regularly for a while, just staring at it. go there, the denver art museum.

i think everyone from the architects, to the builders, to the inspectors and bosses had to be good at there job to figure this out.
