driving up on this place is overwhelming, as its huge, and right on the main street of little hailey. july 4th was on from the start, with gene hare ripping it up and tons of cowgirls getting ready for the rodeo behind the park. the park is amazing, the best thing i ever skated, i was smiles all over. everything is a challenge and massive. we were so stoaked that evening; skating with the utah/texas crew, bruce rode his first fullpipe, the cowgirls were all over the place, partying at the park and redefining all skateboard experiences. and it only got better... we were in heaven partying on top of the fullpipe as fireworks were going off right beside us. then this 14 year old local starts rolling in from the top of the pipe in the dark- we were going crazy. then the knight rider put fireworks in the bowl and rode around. it was way better than the fireworks, which became background to the knight riders antix.
eventually, we had to find another campsite in the dark, and that to proved to be another sweet spot. we went to sleep with a view of a gazillion stars, and woke up exploring caves bruce found. that day brought about challenges, collisions and sanders ripping his way back into skating.
