Day ten began with the team trying reassemble as early as possible. we went to slam city and began our skate day. As soon as we started to skate hastings the canadian rain started to fall. At the same time a best trick contest was underway. The announcer no sooner called for a miller flip over the spine then here comes benji flipping over the spine. Next request was for a layback smith grind and again Benji takes the money. The rain was falling steady and the bowl was soaked. Brewce began his onslaught of ridiculous moves. Pulling a unit in the rain then on two mud covered boards he did a frontside invert board transfer. The crowd went wild at what was called the best trick of the day by the announcer. since he had given away the money Brewce waited til sunday and recieved some cash. The focus then moved inside where Benji was shredding the street and vert in practice. In his steet qualifier he rolled his ankle and took himself out of the contest. 68th in the street no attempt in the vert. Out of the arena a guy named Mavy tried to ride his honda into the venue much to the chagrin of the slam city employees. Later that night we went to an indoor mini ramp in these guys warehouse and raged all the night. Much fun was had and the team was very happy. Another night with minimal sleep and maximum enjoyment.
