we've been driving for 2 days now, and things are happening, mostly with the truck and camper cab (dubbed- 'calamity jane'). the sleeping has been a little cramped and difficult with the roof trying to peel off like a sardine can while rotten wood was breaking loose and flying everywhere. at 1 point 37 had to hang onto the roof and was 'hang glidding' while trying to keep the roof from rolling off. a couple miles later, we strapped the top and bottom together and things were looking much better. while collette was getting pulled over for not having a seat belt on, we picked up matt and helped him along his way for a bit. and the last bit of info is our fearless calamity jane overheated or blew an oil pump and left us on the side of the highway. hiatus at grand island, nebraska
