tuesday mourning, 7am, we are up and bailing burnside, chilling with the hobos. burnside is famous for its anarchy nature and sketchy locals. if you like filth, you'll love portland. we skated burnside till noon, hooked up with sleazy steve (aka washington dc) and headed towards the premier parks in oregon- aumsville and newberg. endless lines, big steel pipe, chicks with ripped up jeans, and in general, a very good atmosphere for skating and hooking up- aumsville is a must skate for bowls, speed, and long grinds. our last stop on this day was the newberg park, about 30 minutes from aumsville. this park is huge and you can keep your speed throughout without pushing. there's hips and pockets everywhere of all shapes and sizes to make for insaine transfers and lines. most of the park is pretty shallow, but the megga deep end is big and fast. we befriended local skate chic ripper ferrah and found a home for the nite for the cool guy team. team bif bag headed to seattle to catch up with sloppy sam and be well positioned for tomorrows skate agenda.
