team clean cut heads for vancouver and runs into some problems at the border. hours later we are stoaked to be heading towards vancouver, home of the slam city jam, the biggest pro contest in the world. we are heading there with the mission of brewce and benji skating in the contest, and showing pieces from brewces skateboard museum. we knew it was on, when driving through the city, alex chalmers intercepts us, and leads us right to the venue. there things are going full blast, with pros practicing vert, street, and a major bowl session that ended in a washout. we set up brewces museum, made some local contacts (amelia and matt), and then found our plush hotel room. this is about when we were shocked with the ugly news that team bif bag didn't make it through the border. we lost collette, ed peck, and 37! what a blow. frazzled, and needing a release, we went to a killer party downtown at the crack ramp. its a killer wide miniramp in this apartment, or i should say in the living room. the session was very snakey, with collisions and near misses in almost every run. it was like a backyard session inside a house.
