ive been wanting to get to hailey for a while and j4 03 seemed like a good a time as any. i didnt know who was going till day of departure- bruce adams (of skatecolorado) and ed johnson (of save the vans bowl) were in there (cmon dudes we're meeting bryan and gene and going to hailey!). the rest of the army, crew, and others we skate with were heading to aspen. it was all set, the monte carlo was packed and i drove like crazy to get to logan before sunset.

hairy passing on curves near bear lake, fuck that truck! 7 hours later and we show up right before dark. daywooo was giving a picnic table demo in the park when we got there. we met up with bryan pennington and his family and friends for a quick sesh as it got dark. what a fun park to cruise! of course it was way dark and we were way buzzed as we searched for a camp spot. it turned out to be easy and a nice spot. the next day, we got an early stretch in at the park (as bryan kills it), met up with ashley and joel, and attacked the slow drivers in the fast lane.


i hate skating in the mourning, but at least it wasnt crowded and not that hot yet.


cant really complain about this bowl, its fun and tricky.
